Schedule of Events 

  • 6:30am: Check-in/Registration/Packet Pickup opens
  • 7:30am: In-Memory Ceremony (adults only) 
  • 9:00am: Start of 5k & Fun Run 
  • 10:15am: Awards Ceremony 
  • 11:00am: Raffle Draw
  • 7:30am-12:00pm: Festival 

Coffee, limited refreshments and bagels will be available prior to the In-Memory Ceremony and 5K. Medals, water and snacks will be available to participants after they cross the Finish Line.

Timing

Timing will be available to those who wish to time their race. You can select the option during registration. 
 

Fees & Deadlines

  • January 28 - February 25:    Adults $35 and Children $25 
  • February 26 -  April 1:          Adults $40 and Children $30 
  • April 2 - April 26:                  Adults $45 and Children $35 
  • Event Day April 27 - 28:      Adults $50 and Children $40 

Tuesday, April 16 is the LAST day to submit images and text for a personalized     t-shirt!
 
 

Packet Pickup 

Event packets may be picked up prior to the Run for Hope for participants who registered online or by mail 
prior to Thursday, April 25th. Your event packet includes your bib number and t-shirt. 

 

Packets can be picked up early on:

Saturday, April 27 - Corner of Iowa Ave & Corinth Ave
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Avoid the morning wait and pick up your shirt and bib the day before!

What is the Run For Hope? 

The Run For Hope is a day to honor the memory and celebrate the lives of those who have died. It is a time to share grief, loss and love; providing the community with a sense of hope and connection. Participants are invited to personalize their event t-shirt at no cost with the name and photo of a loved one who has died, and walk or run along our 5K route. 

What is the Adults Only In-Memory Ceremony? 

The adults only In-Memory ceremony includes a short two-block walk, that culminates in an intimate ceremony led by the OUR HOUSE clinical team. Participants will have the opportunity to share about their loved one who has died, and to listen as others as they share their stories of grief, hope and healing. 

What is the Family Fun Run? 

The family fun run is a 1-mile family friendly event that takes place concurrently with the 5k Run/Walk. This is great for younger kids and older adults that want to participate, but not complete 3.1 miles. There will be a marked turnaround point along the course.

PETS, PARKING, SHUTTLES & BAG CHECK
 

Pets

While we love our furry friends, please do not bring your dogs. Adoptable dogs from Paws for Life will be present at the event.

Strollers

Strollers are welcomed at the festival and on the course.

Parking 

Parking lot at:  11500 West Olympic Blvd.  Park lot opens at 6am and lot entrance is on Colby Avenue. 
​Parking is $5 per car (free for current group members). Due to the number of participants this year, we recommend arriving 1-hour before event start times.


Shuttles

Shuttles will be parked on Butler Ave. (just south of Olympic) from 6:30am to 12:00pm and will transport participants to and from the event site every 20 minutes. The last shuttle will depart event site at 12:30pm.

Bag Check

We will be offering a bag check at the event site. Please note that we are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
